When listening to a paper, it would be great if I could easily pause, look at the figure(s) in an image view that supports the normal pan/zoom gestures on my phone, and then resume listening. Currently I need to leave audemic to look at figures.
This would be extremely helpful for figures, tables, and algorithms when the are referenced. Even having a separate widget on top of the text widget would be nice.
If there is no easy way to extract the dimensions from the pdf itself, I bet you can implement some kind of image segmentation model, get the bounding box dimensions, then create screen shots from the original pdf (will probably need to spend some money making a dataset for this).
