Proper pronunciation of scientific words and other issues

I haven't been using this for that long, but I have already noticed some mispronunciations. For example, the abbreviation for Ancient DNA is aDNA and is being verbalized as an entire word instead of a-DNA. The word allele and all variations of the word (ie allelic, alleles, etc) are also being mispronounced. Allele is occasionally pronounced correctly. It is also difficult to follow along when there is no option of highlighting the words/ sentence while reading along. It would be nice to look away and not lose my place. This is not to say that there is no option to highlight which I am aware there is. I am referring to having some sort of marker that helps me follow along with the audio better. It is also difficult to understand when the audio is reading all of the reference numbers. This is especially difficult when things are categorical and the audio does not recognize Roman numerals.

Agreed, I listen to a lot of lgbtiq+ related papers - but it is trying to say it as a word instead of saying each letter
