It doesn´t read all the text, it skip sentences and some of them are important for me.
It has been like this for hours
Several papers have transitioned from the end of a page to the second column of the next page. Seems to be after giving an http address. It's very confusing and hard to folli. I don't see an option to manually fix it either.
Most of the time, on my phone or laptop, it won't let me select to add a highlighted citation to a board I have already created, which means I have multiple boards named "Fatigue." Because of this glitch, I would love to be able to switch where a citation is located in one folder to another so they are all in the same folder.
I can understand subheadings like 'introduction' or 'results' not being read aloud (although I would personally prefer if they were read), but some papers, eg "Herbst et al. 2022, 3D profiling of mouse epiphyses across ages reveals new potential imaging biomarkers of early spontaneous osteoarthritis" (open access) contain Res...
read along function not tracking with audio
The in-text citations are now being read and there doesn't appear to be a way to turn this off.
This bug can be seen by uploading the following paper: Wickramage et al., SINE RNA of the imprinted miRNA clusters mediates constitutive type III interferon expression and antiviral protection in hemochorial placentas, Cell Host & Microbe (2023), https://doi.org/10.1016/j.chom.2023.05.018
A few papers I've uploaded Audemic has not recognized the Introduction Section. Presumably, this is because the journal format does not include a section header after the abstract that says explicitly "Introduction". Because of this, all of the introduction is omitted, so no text is recognized by Audmic between the abstract a...
On longer recordings (e.g., >60 min), no audio plays no matter how long you let it sit there "trying" to load it.
When listening to a text the 'reading of the text' suddenly cuts off in the middle of a sentence and generating of audio for next chapter begins.
The tutorial video plays every time. And it restarts whenever I click on Notes/Profile/Papers, etc., even when I close the video.
The section will be 7 minutes but the bar at the bottom can only be adjusted at to 1 min before maxing out
Abstract is incomplete
The program is incorporating text that is in the sidebar (like definitions or the doi) into the main body of text. It is also just randomly inserting it in paragraphs instead of reading it separately.
I uploaded a PDF, and somehow the program got the title, authors, and doi totally wrong. The text is all correct, but for some reason, all the 'header data' links to a different paper? The title/author/doi displayed is one of the references in the paper, not the uploaded paper itself.
Sometimes it doesn't even start reading after 5 min waiting (not a problem with the internet connection).
Probably the occurrence of multiple headers with the text name can lead to large parts of document not loading. Extreme example can reproduced by loading a paper "A PhD Student's Perspective on Research in NLP in the Era of Very Large Language Models" from arxiv.
A few of the papers separate into only 2-3 sections resulting in 25+ minute sections for which audio will not generate. I tried breaking up the paper into two parts using adobe pro but that didn’t even resolve the issue.
Text is not read in correct order. The narration starts at the top of the rightmost column, reads down it, then jumps back up to the left most column. I just rejoined Audemic, and am frustrated with this issue.
